JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL. —

Jacksonville Beach Police have arrested one of the two suspected gang members accused of wounding two people in a shootout last week.

Police say they’ve arrested Vernon Robinson – also known as “Yodi.”  He is in custody and cooperating with detectives.

They’re still looking for Denard Robinson – also known as “Scooter.”  He’s considered armed and dangerous, and you’re asked to call Jax Beach Police (270-1661) or 9-1-1 if you see him.

Robinson is on the left in the picture above.

The shooting left a 25-year-old mother of two paralyzed after getting caught in the crossfire (see the related story to the left for more details).

Daniel Jarrett, 17, was also injured but will recover.  He’s also charged with attempted murder for his role in the gunfight.
