Jacksonville Police say three young children witnessed a man beating their mother to death.
Cops arrested 32-year-old Kishon Birch after he slammed his girlfriend's body against the kitchen counters and stove.
The attack happened in 28-year-old Rolanda Harrell's Fort Caroline apartment, where she was found dead.
The attack occured Wednesday night at the Caroline Arms Apartments. Birch is now charged with murder.
The children ranged in age from 2 to 7, and told officers they've seen him abusing their mother in the past.
