A baby is dead after a double shooting in Brunswick and police say the gunman could be as young as 13-years-old.

The incident even shocking Brunswick Mayor Bryan Thompson.

"This is obviously just a terrible day in the city of Brunswick, and made even more terrible by the senseless killing of a young child, that was apparently carried out by children," says Thompson.

Police say the baby's mother was also shot in this incident, and was alert while be transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The shooting happened while the mother was walking with the one-year-old in a stroller, and was reportedly approached by the teen and another child.
