JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

Our Washington reporters just gave us a head's up about President Obama's scheduled for next week.

And we see he'll be making some Florida stops, including for a campaign event here in Jacksonville next Thursday.

The president will start the week with stops in Cincinnati, Ohio, San Antonio and Austin, Texas. Then on Wednesday, the President will return to the White House for meetings.

By Thursday, he'll travel to Jacksonville, as well as West Palm Beach. On Friday, President Obama will travel to Ft. Myers and Orlando for more campaign events before returning to Washington, DC.

We're working on gathering more information about President Obama's visit to the First Coast - including when and where he'll be, and who he'll be addressing. Keep checking on-air and online at WOKV.com

NEW as of Sunday:

We've heard from Mayor Brown's Director of Communications David DeCamp that the Mayor will not be attending President Obama's campaign event in Jacksonville on Thursday because of a previously scheduled obligation in Philidelphia.

"Mayor Brown will be attending the previously scheduled summer leadership meeting in Philadelphia of the U.S. Conference of Mayor. That event was planned  weeks ago, and the mayor holds leadership roles with the conference, including chairing its Metro Exports and Ports Task Force."
