The Quran-burning pastor from Gainesville is angering a ton of people in Michigan. Terry Jones is threatening to protest at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn today.
Minutes after an interview at a TV station yesterday, a gun belonging to Jones was fired in the parking lot.
No one was hurt and it appears the gun accidentally discharged.
Jones is expected to be in court today to learn whether his protest will be allowed.
Southfield Police confirmed the gun accidentally discharged. No charges were filed, and police gave the gun back to Jones before sending him on his way.
