The Governor puts his signature on three bills while making a stop in Jacksonville.
Governor Scott says all three pieces of legislation are aimed at boosting Florida's economy, including one measure that doubles the state's corporate income tax exemption to $50,000.
"So, now 2/3 of companies that were paying this tax when I took office are no longer paying this tax," Scott said while stopping at Load King Manufacturing in Jacksonville.
The other laws are the Regional Workforce Board Accountability Act to keep employment offices functioning responsibly for the unemployed. He also signed a law that revamps the state's unemployment compensation system to become the re-employment assistance program.
