Second mass shooting leaves three dead, child injured

Jacksonville, FL —
For the second time this week, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a mass shooting near downtown.
Investigators say a shooting off of 1324 Prince Street left two men and one woman dead. A child is still being treated for its injuries at the hospital. The incident happened around 4:30pm this afternoon
Sheriff John Rutherford says this happened near where a mass shooting injured 11 people at a block party. The hail of bullets killed a baby inside of its mother's womb. In the case of both Sunday's shooting and Tuesday's shooting, the Sheriff is imploring the public to come forward with any information it might have.
"My message to them would be if you want this to stop, tell us what you know as quickly as possible. And we'll go out and get those responsible and hold them accountable."
Investigators are looking for possible connections between the crimes. Rutherford is telling the community if they want this to stop, come forward and tell police what they know about the gunmen. No description has been issued about the shooters in either crime yet.
