A Jacksonville man gets indefinite confinement after multiple convictions.
William Alphonso Boston was sentenced after a civil trial regarding his release. The jury decided to send the 28-year-old to the Florida Civil Commitment Center in Arcadia, Florida indefinitely. Experts previously have said Boston suffers a personality disorder which makes him likely to engage in acts of sexual violence.
In 2004, he was convicted of Lewd and Lascivious conduct involving an eleven-year-old girl. He was sentenced to four years in prison and three years probation.
In 2008, Boston was convicted of Attempted Sexual Battery and sentenced to five years in prison. The victims were five- and six-year-old girls he babysat.
