Shocking report of Afghan kill squads

By Rich Jones

Jacksonville, FL —

An apology from the Pentagon, following the shocking report of American soldiers forming a death squad in Afghanistan.

Rolling Stone magazine obtained pictures of video showing the random killings.   The U.S. Army says the photos of American soldiers posing with dead Afghans are 'in striking contrast' to its standards and values.

An Army spokesman says the video is not new to investigators.  It's one of nearly four thousand files the Army collected while looking into these killings.

So far 12 soldiers have been charged in connection with the attacks.  No Army officers have been charged in connection with the case, but the investigatioin is still ongoing.
