A 21-year-old man shot and killed, another is injured following a wild overnight series of events that started outside a strip club on Jacksonville's southside.
Cops were called to Club Climax at Phillips and Bowden early Friday morning. Michael Chatman was shot dead in what police are calling a drive-by shooting.
Two suspects took off in a car, leading Jacksonville police on a chase through several neighborhoods. Before driving off the security guard at the strip club fired back at the car and hit the passenger.
During the chase the car spun out on I-95 near I-10, at that point the passenger got out of the car and jumped over a guard railing. He dropped 25 feet to the ground below. He suffered injuries to his legs but is expected to recover.
The driver, 27-year-old Ivan Webb was arrested on the northwest side of Jacksonville after he crashed into a light pole. He's now facing murder charges.
