St. Johns County, FL —
St. Johns County deputies are actively searching for a Department of Juvenile Justice inmate who has escaped custody.
16-year-old Cylis McMillian was on an authorized field trip at the Haven Horse Ranch on the 7300 block of CR 208 this afternoon when he kicked out a bathroom window and fled on foot.
The 16 year-old inmate who escaped from St. Johns County has been arrested. The teen was located in Citrus County around Midnight Saturday.
Police in St. Johns County had been searching for Cylis McMillian in the area of the World Golf Village and SR 16 and I-95 area.
He was in custody for non-violent burglary and theft.
