St. Johns County, FL —
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is looking in to multiple westside shootings which happened last week.
Last Tuesday, several individuals were involved in a series of either two or three shootings near W. King Street. Right now, investigators believe a vehicle was possibly shot near S. Nassau St. and W. King St. A separate vehicle was shot near W. King St. Ext. and W. King St. A possible third incident of gunfire happened on Collier St. adjacent to Murray Middle School. In total, at least three vehicles and one residence were hit with gunfire.
Detectives have searched a westside home in connection to this investigation. There they uncovered a .380 handgun and shell casings which they believe are tied to this case.
If you have any information about these incidents, the Sheriff’s Office wants you to call Detective Gene Tolbert at 904-209-3985. You can also submit an anonymous tip and be eligible for a reward by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
