The Department of Justice has indicted a St. Augustine man on federal drug charges for crack dealing.
James Lamark Early, 38, is charged with conspiring to manufacture and distribute more than 280 grams of crack cocaine, maintaining a drug-involved premise and multiple distributions of the drug. He is charged with four distribution counts.
Federal officials said Early maintained a drug house at 695 Duval Street in St. Augustine where he and others manufactured and sold crack. The government plans on forcing him to forfeit the residential property.
Early has a criminal past involving drugs, and he’s facing a mandatory sentence of life in a federal prison if convicted.
A St. Augustine drug dealer with a criminal history may be facing a life sentence.
