Jacksonville, FL —
You probably have a special name for the people who swerve in and out of traffic or ride too close to your bumper.
The Florida Highway Patrol is promising a new crackdown on aggressive drivers.
FHP is putting more resources on the highways later this month to target and pull over aggressive drivers.
FHP is also planning a public awareness campaign on the radio and billboards.
The FHP reports that actions by drivers account for 88% of crashes.
The campaign hopes to reduce motor-vehicle accidents, injuries and fatalities.
The campaign will take place February 27 - 29.
