Jacksonville, FL —

A Jacksonville teen will spend the next 40 years in prison for seven armed robberies.

18-year-old Matthew Terrell Johnson pleaded guilty to the crimes in August.  The State Attorney’s Office says he used a handgun and a BB gun for the hold-ups earlier this year.

He also admitted to an unarmed robbery- stealing a 13-year-old’s backpack.
