JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
A Jacksonville family returned to their home this weekend to an unpleasant surprise. Thieves had broken in and stolen $25,000.
Joseph and Pat Peto came home to find the robbers had broken the back window and gone through everything in the house, even their prescription pills.
They say the 25K was all in hundred dollar bills, and they were saving up for their funerals and their son's funeral, so family members wouldn't have to deal with the expense.
