Three cars hit by rocks, bricks in Mandarin

By Andrew Greenstein

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

Police need your help in finding whoever has been throwing rocks and bricks at passing cars in Mandarin over the weekend.

The Times-Union reports three cars got damaged on Old St. Augustine Road.

The first happened around midnight Saturday night when a rock hit a woman's windshield as she drove past a wooded area just before Silver Saddle Drive.

The driver wasn't hurt, but her car was damaged.

About five minutes later, two cars driving by the same area were hit by bricks.

One cracked a windshield.

So far, police have not made any arrests.

If you have any information, call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.
