The WOKV First Alert Forecast now includes a Flood Watch for the WOKV listening area because of several inches of rain.
Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says more than seven inches of rain was recorded in the southside, near Gate Parkway and the I-295 East Beltway.
We have been checking with Emergency Management officials in St. Johns and Clay Counties, and both report no significant flooding issues as of 11:15am.

Deep water reported in the intersection of St. Johns Avenue and King Street in Riverside; that's near St. Vincent's Hospital.
Florida 511 reports a crash on I-95N at exit 344 Butler Blvd; left shoulder blocked.

9:50 a.m. JSO says the following streets are flooded: State & Newnan, Hubbard & Orange, Market & Phelps, Market & Orange, Park Street SB from Edgewood to Dancy, Post Street & Willowbranch, and Carder/Lake Shore Blvd.
