Jacksonville, FL —

We know what caused those huge delays on the West Beltway in Mandarin this morning.

The driver of an SUV lost control around 4:30am Monday at San Jose and rolled.  Two passengers were thrown from the SUV.

According to a crash report by the Florida Highway Patrol, 22 year-old driver Jacob Thomas Lin-Justiniano and passenger Ronnie Keoni Powell, both from Jacksonville, suffered critical injuries.

Passenger Fiona Ann Castor and Qiante Royale Jackson suffered serious injuries.

It's unclear what caused the driver to lose control but the crash report indicates charges are pending further investigation.  Fog was heavy in the area at the time of the crash.

As traffic was stopping for that crash the driver of a semi truck hauling Blue Bell ice cream overturned, blocking most of the lanes.

The semi driver, David Alvarez of Orange Park, was not hurt.

Traffic was squeezing by in one lane, causing huge delays into Orange Park for most of the morning.
