Jacksonville, FL —
Jacksonville police have identified the woman who died in an East Arlington crash Monday.
Police say 22-year-old Katherine Hopwood was driving south on the 1200 block of Girvan Road when she drifted off of the west side of the road, for unknown reasons.
She overcorrected, causing the car to drive off the east side of the road, striking a tree at the passenger’s side door.
Hopwood was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say this is still an ongoing investigation.
