JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

Sunshine State voters doing their civic duty today, flocking to polling locations all over northeast Florida to vote today. One word stuck out in speaking with voters at different precincts: ridiculous.

"We're providing him his campaign fight free of charge. I think it's ridiculous," said Terri Long who says she's frustrated at Republican in-fighting.

"I think we waste way, way too much money on giveaways and stimulus packages giving millions and millions and millons of dollars away to companies when you've got peple in the United States here that are sleeping under bridges. It's ridiculous," said Martin Trauger, who says he's tired of wasteful spending.

Still, other voters just want to see some change they say they can actually believe in this time.

"Just having an establishment person isn't going to do it this time. We need to find someone who can beat Obama," said another voter, Curtis.

The polls opened at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. when precincts will start tabulating ballots.

Coming into Tuesday, a new Quinnipiac poll showed Mitt Romney with a 14 point lead over Newt Gingrich.
