It’s the 2016 version of “Dewey Defeats Truman,” and you can find it for just 99 cents on eBay: the rare recalled Newsweek edition commemorating Hillary Clinton's election as president.

Then again, the price tag has been generally higher on the auction site, going as high as $599. NBC News reported that the prices ranged from 99 cents to $9,995 and said it found 387 offers for the magazine.

After the presidential election was won by Republican candidate Donald Trump, multiple news organizations reported that Newsweek magazine had published 125,000 copies of a commemorative magazine with Clinton’s photo on the cover and the headline “Madam President.” The price tag was $10.99.

Those copies were recalled, replaced by an issue commemorating Trump’s victory. Topix Media, a Newsweek licensee, designed both a Clinton and a “President Trump” cover before the vote. Topix is a specialty publisher from New York that produces special editions for several media companies. Topix published a commemorative issue for Newsweek after golfing great Arnold Palmer died on Sept. 25.

Since many major polls had predicted a Clinton victory, Topix decided to print and ship 125,000 copies of the Clinton edition ahead of the election. Only 17 copies were actually sold.

Tony Romando, Topix's CEO, told the New York Post, “Like everybody else, we got it wrong.”

Newsweek wrote a disclaimer on Twitter, tweeting that “commemorative covers were produced for both Clinton and Trump "by a Newsweek licensee, Topix Media, and not by Newsweek."

“All wholesalers and retailers have been asked to return any issues they have as we need to clear room for [150,000 copies of] the President Trump issue,” Romando told the New York Post. “We expect it to sell very well as there is obviously a great demand.”
