Another plea to the public to help solve the murder of a young woman murdered on the Westside.
22-year-old Amber Bass was shot outside of her home on July 19. Her sister Robin says Amber's unsolved murder is troubling for the entire family.
"It's very hard for us to move forward with our lives knowing that someone is out and could potentially hurt someone else's family."
Police released a new clue Tuesday afternoon at a JSO press conference. Detectives say they are looking for a light colored car that pulled behind Amber's car and left several minutes after. Investigators say they don't know if the driver is directly linked to the crime but are asking for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (904) 280-5975.
Police also say Amber's purse was never found. They say its a gray purse with silver studs.
CrimeStoppers is offering 3 thousand dollars for information leading to an arrest. They are also adding an additional 1 thousand dollar reward to recover the gun used in the crime.
