Inmates injured in I-10 collision

A driver heading the wrong way on I-10 in Suwannee county injured 8 inmates and 2 others when he collided head on with a transport van early Sunday morning.

FHP says the crash happened around 4 a.m.  59-year-old Henry Glover was going east on I-10 westbound when he hit the van.  It's driver only suffered minor injuries but the passenger was treated at Shands Gainesville along with Glover.

Inmates were treated at various northeast Florida hospitals.
