Afghan Security Foils Kabul Bombing Attempt
Security forces in Afghanistan are on high alert after an attempted suicide attack. The bomber drove this vehicle loaded with explosives in an affluent suburb of Kabul near several embassies. Afghan intelligence officers shot the would-be suicide bomber dead around 9 am, police said.
