Australians Prepare as More Bushfires Loom
Firefighters in southeast Australia take advantage of cooler weather conditions on Friday to fill up. Forecasters are predicting soaring temperatures over the weekend and more fires. Australia is particularly vulnerable to bushfires, and a spell of hot weather across the south-east has helped fan the flames this year. The heatwave started late December in Western Australia and has now spread across the nation leading to record breaking temperatures.
