Clashes Erupt During Student Protests in Chile
Clashes erupted on Thursday between student demonstrators and police in the Chilean capital of Santiago. Several arrests were made, and police used a water cannon in efforts to disperse the crowds. Some protesters hurled rocks at police and police vehicles, while others scrambled to avoid the violence.
