Dog Rescued from Freezing Lake
Rescuers save a dog which had become stuck in icy waters of Michigan's Lake Erie. They transferred the pooch into a boat which was pulled to safety. One of the rescuers guiding the boat to shore fell into the water himself a few times. Finally on terra firma, the dog was carried to an ambulance. Local media say the dog didn't appear to be seriously hurt.
