Exiled Tibetans March in India
Hundreds of exiled Tibetans march in protest against Chinese oppression in their homeland. The 120 kilometre march comes as tensions over Tibet are at their highest in years after a spate of demonstrations over Chinese rule. At least 64 protesting Tibetans have died after setting themselves in fire since March 2011. The president of the Tibetan Youth Club of Gangtok - the group that organised the march - said the self immolations are the result of Chinese repression of Tibetan rights.
