Family of Delhi Rape Victim Demand Death Penalty
The New Delhi courthouse where five men accused of the rape and murder of an Indian woman-- a brutal assault that sent shockwaves through the nation-- stand trial. On Tuesday, the family of the victim called for the suspects to receive death sentences. "I just keep thinking that all six accused should be hanged," the father of the victim told the media. The attack on the 23-year old medical student led to mass demonstrations across the country and a shake-up of laws against sex crimes.
