Heavy Snow Blanets Parts of Europe
There has been heavy snowfall across the east Turkey. Drivers had trouble on the slick roads, while pedestrians found similar difficulties on slippery sidewalks. In Romania, heavy snow put six counties under a white blanket and led to several road accidents. Snowfall and strong winds has cut off at least one remote village from the outside world. And in Bulgaria, authorities declared a state of emergency after heavy snow brought parts of the area to a standstill.
