Macau's "Broken Tooth Koi" Released
After 15 years in prison, Macau gangster Wan "Broken Tooth" Kuok-koi is free. The former triad leader is infamous for his role in bloody gangland turf wars and illegal gambling deals during the 1990s. He was also involved in the movie business and helped produce the film "Casino", which followed the violent hijinks of gangs and high rollers. Macau is still known for its glitzy casinos, hotels and shopping districts, as well as its darker underbelly.
