A tolling bell marks the exact moment the Japanese city of Nagasaki became the nation's second victim of the atomic bomb. The weapon was dropped on Nagasaki on August 9th, 1945 by the United States. More than 150, 000 people died in the attack and from the subsequent effects of radiation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe repeated his call for a world without nuclear weapons. It was the same message he delivered at the commemoration of the bombing of Hiroshima earlier the same week.
