Palestinians Xmas Rally For Prisoners
A Christmas tree outside the Red Cross in Bethlehem was lit up on Saturday (December 22) in support of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. Human rights groups have condemned Israel's detention of some 300 Palestinians without trial. Israeli authorities say the procedure is used in some security-related cases as it helps to protect confidential sources from exposure in court.
