Parishioners Shocked At Pope's Resignation
The Vatican announced moments ago that Pope Benedict XVI will step down on Feb. 28.
Pope Benedict XVI told the Cardinals of the Catholic Church he is resigning because of his advanced age.
The 85-year-old pope will turn 86 on April 16th.
He was elected pope in 2005.
