Snow Bound at German-Czech Border
Heavy snowfall caused extreme traffic conditions on the roads in Germany's southern state of Saxony on Thursday, leaving dozens of lorries stranded near the Czech-German border. The B174 near Marienberg was especially jammed due to broken-down lorries, with police warning that the heavy snowfall might cause slippery roads and trees to buckle under heavy snow.
