UN Plea Over Tunisia Police Tactics

Up to 10, 000 protesters were back out in the Tunisian city of Siliana on Friday. This is the latest in a wave of demonstrations to demand jobs in a city whose residents have long complained of neglect. But again, as on previous occasions this week, the protest turned to violent clashes with police. Their tactics to quell the protests have led the United Nations human rights chief to accuse authorities of excessive force. The U.N says some protesters arrived at hospital with gunshot wounds.
