Vatican Pilgrims See Black Smoke

Hundreds of pilgrims in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican eagerly anticipate the election of the new pope. If white smoke rises from the Sistine Chapel it would signal that a new pontiff has been selected. The process began on Tuesday evening, with two morning and two afternoon votes on Wednesday.
