Flight attendant helps woman give birth mid-flight
Flight attendants do many things aboard a flight, but rarely do they get to help women give birth.
There were no sedatives on board, and they had to tie the umbilical cord with a shoestring, disinfected by soaking it in vodka.
After the baby was born, the plane was diverted to Senegal, where first-time mom Katherine Oyedoh and her baby boy were taken to the hospital and are doing fine now.
