Arena Bowl Preview

Previous Posts

By Jay Gray

We just witnessed the Jags first action of the season and now we get to see the Sharks final game. Arena Bowl XXIV is take place tonight in Arizona at 8:30. It’s the Sharks in only their second year of existence taking on a team they lost to in week 1 this year. Not only have the sharks had to a really rough time against the American Conference but they also have one of the worst turnarounds in the history of football.

Sharks only had four losses all year but every one of them came against the American Conference including a 52-55 loses in Arizona. Sharks lead most of the way in that game until a late comeback finally sunk the Sharks. It might have been a blessing in disguise because after that loss the Sharks rattled off a league record 13 straight wins. AFL Offensive Player of the Year Aaron Garcia had one of his worst games as a Shark, only 5 td passes and 2 picks. But as we have seen so many times in sports whether it’s the playoffs or the championship game you can’t use the regular season games the predictor of what goes down now.

Win or lose I don’t think a lot of people predicted this amount of success so early for the home team but I think everyone here would love to see a championship. It all goes down tonight at 8:30 from Arizona on the NFL Network.
