Game 2 Goes Down In History

Previous Posts

By Jay Gray

Gotta love a comeback. Dallas is making 15 point comebacks a regular occurrence in this playoff run. Last series they used a 15 point come back late in the 4th quarter to take down the thunder in overtime. This time it looked like overtime might be needed again but Dirk Said not this time. Nowitzki makes a couple moves and scores a layup with just seconds left to take the game 95-93.  It’s the Heat’s first loss at home and this one could be a costly one.

The way the finals work is the next 3 games will be on the Mavs home court, and Dallas has been Deadly at the American Airlines Arena. Their only loss was a 106- 100 shootout in game 2 against the Thunder, the rest of their home games have been won by an average of 12 points. If the Heat wants to return to South Beach this season they have to figure out how to win in Dallas. Finding a way to stop Dirk might be helpful as well, the Mavs’ big man is averaging about 26 points and 10 boards during the finals.

Game 3 is Sunday night at 8pm
