EAST
Ohio State NUMBER 1 in the east and the number 1 overall seed. Always seems like the number 1 seed is always in the toughest bracket, they get in with Ivy League champ Princeton, Kentucky the SEC tournament champs, Washington the Pac 10 tourney champs, UNC the regular season champs in the SEC not to mention Syracuse that was 18-0 at one point. Personally I don't see an any first day upsets from this bracket, if I had to choose 1 it would be Marquette over Xavier. But it’s basically a home game for the Musketeers. I really think it’s going to come down to Kentucky, the Cuse, UNC and Ohio St. tough bracket to call.
Winner: Syracuse
WEST
Duke the number 1 seed here should have an easy run to the sweet 16 then it gets a little dicey. San Diego St. is the number 2, they have yet to win a conference tournament game but should get more than one this year. Two really tough teams in this region to pick or pick against, Number 4 Texas is a team that for a long time was considered the second best team in the country, but suffered some bad losses to bad teams. Again could see them winning a bunch or losing in the first round. The other team, Uconn, great run winning five games in five days to win the Big East but will they run out of gas or continue the hot streak. Upset specials here take your pick Penn St, Missouri, Memphis, Oakland, and Tennessee all have a good shot.
Winner: Duke
SOUTHEAST
Panthers are number 1, I really see them crusing into the elite 8 at least. The Gators draw the two seed here and how lucky are they because I really want to have them losing in the second or third game but I just don’t see how. The Southeast has got be one of the trickiest to pick, Kansas St and Utah St, I’m thinking upset here, Wisconsin who scored 33 total points there last game is going up against the trendy upset special Belmont, and St John’s and BYU both missing key starters. My upset team here though the Zags, I can easily see them taking on Florida in the sweet 16 if they get passed the Johnny’s.
Winner: Pitt
SOUTHWEST
Kansas is the number seed from the Southwest, Notre dame is your number 2 could see them matchup with FSU on the second day but I don’t see the Seminoles getting out of the first game against Texas A&M. The team that will kill your bracket from this region gotta be Georgetown, struggled down the stretch without their point guard, well he's back but is he healthy. The Hoyas can easily lose their first game or win 3 or 4 games. Personally I have them winning till the sweet 16. Upset special if anyone I could see Richmond taking down Vandy.
Winner: Kansas
