Jags are going to have tough time with the Lions even though Detroit’s record isn’t that good. The Lions only have 3 wins on the year but they are ranked second in passing yards. On the opposite side the Jags are giving up the 23rd most passing yards on the season. If they want to win the Jags D will need to come to play. Here are some keys to victory.

STOP THE PASS

Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson have had a down year but that doesn’t mean they can’t go off at any time. Stafford had a breakout game last week with 4 TDs so if the Jags want to win they have to control those two guys

BUILD ON SUCCESS

Gabbert has had back to back good games minus the injury to Oakland. He needs to keep the momentum going forward week. He is already on a short leash with the fans and he can’t afford o take a step backwards

ELIMINATE TURNOVERS

A blocked punt for a touchdown last week was the difference in playing from behind over playing with the lead last week. This game could come down to the final play and every point counts. Jags can’t give away possession because of turnovers
