It was a new opponent but the same result for the Jags at home. With the latest 31-14 loss at home to Detroit the Jags have now been outscored 126-34 this season at home and are 0-4 at Everbank Field.
Jags looked awful for most of the game on offense except for a couple late drives in the game. Justin Blackmon managed to catch his first career td reception as a pro but that’s not a big plus for fans who watch another home blowout loss. I said it on Friday Calvin Johnson could go off at any time and this week was one of those weeks. While the jags managed to keep him out of the end zone he still caught passes for 129 yards on the day. You knew the Lions offense has a chance to be explosive but I don’t think anyone would have guessed the big man of the game would be running back Mikel Lashoure. He had 3 TDs in the first half against the jags struggling D.
It’s a short week coming up for the Jags and another home game on the horizon so the Jags need to figure out why they look so bad at home. They have been competitive on the road so you know they have it in them to play well. The good news is the Colts are in town and as we all know that’s the only team the Jags have beaten this year.
