JTA is rethinking a plan to boost fares for handicapped riders after getting an earful at a public meeting.  The Times-Union reporting JTA is proposing increasing handicapped fares by a quarter to 75 cents for a one-way ride.  It's part of a larger plan to boost fares for the first time in over a decade.

The constant media attention surrounding pay raises and the school board is causing some contention among its members.  Board members say they blame the media for how their decision is portrayed, even going as far to say they were portrayed as villians.  The members have until tomorrow to decide if they will take the state mandated raise of 28-hundred dollars.

Four North Georgia men will be back in court next week   as they face a preliminary hearing on charges they were plotting a murder spree targeting people they considered treasonous, including plans to spread a deadly toxin in  Jacksonville.  The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says it's aware of the arrests and believe there is no cause for alarm.
