Smoke will hang in the air, especially if you live on the westside. Wildfires are burning around Jacksonville, including one at the Columbia County line that is pushing smoke east. Dry weather is expected all week, which could promote dangerous fire weather conditions.
It's been warm across the nation this spring--records were shattered. Temps in the lower 48 states were more than eight degrees above normal for March and six degrees higher than average for the first three months of the year.

We're expecting to learn more this morning about what happened to a star on the Jaguars defensive line. Terrance Knighton, better known as Pot Roast, underwent surgery on his eye at Baptist Hospital. There's no official word on what happened but there are several reports of an incident at or near Pure Nightclub Sunday morning.
A nine-year-old boy drives through a stop sign at St. Clair and West 10th Street -- and riding directly into the path of a JSO cruiser. The boy was taken to Shands for observation. Investigators say no charges will be filed.
Two women are dead and four others hurt in a crash on I-95 in Nassau County. Investigators say the right rear tread separated from the tire, causing the Chevy Astro van to overturn. And a man is killed in a crash on I-295. FHP says the driver, who was from North Carolina, was speeding and lost control of his car, sending it crashing into the median.

Our Top National Story is You Decide 2012. Mitt Romney's campaign is spending a ton of money in an effort to finish off Rick Santorum. Romney's campaign is rolling out almost $2 million in ads against Santorum in Pennsylvania ahead of the primary April 24th.
Santorum has no events scheduled today as his family was again occupied with the health of their youngest daughter Bella over the Easter weekend. A poll from Public Policy Polling released late last week gave Romney a five point edge in the state - the first poll to show an edge for the former Massachusetts Governor, as Santorum has led in all others.
Newt Gingrich keeps on campaigning but admits you have to be realistic about where he is in the delegate count. Gingrich says he will back Romney if he ends up winning the nomination because he says the primary goal is to beat President Obama.

One of the suspects in a shooting rampage in Tulsa may have been trying to avenge his father's shooting two years ago by a black man. All five people shot in Tulsa last Thursday are black. Three were killed. Two white men were arrested Sunday.

The Navy is starting to pay all those people who are out of a home after Friday's military jet crash in Virginia Beach. Dozens of apartments were destroyed when the F/A 18 Hornet crashed into the apartments. No one died. Initial payments will begin at $2,300 for an individual resident, with more going to people with families.
