Much better weather today.  We return to the low 70's with partly sunny skies.  Rain returns tomorrow but it's not going to be widespread.  Thursday has a chance of rain or a thunderstorm.  We're tracking some strong storms for Friday as a cold front slides through.  Temps Friday could be in the mid-80's.

Today's interview lineup:

At 6:53 hear Jamie Dupree update new polling in Michigan and Arizona that show a neck and neck race.

Our Top Local Story:  A mad scramble for the elections supervisor and other businessese at the Gateway Mall.  The landlord is being foreclosed by Wells Fargo, leaving Supervisor Jerry Holland wondering where this year's election results will be counted.  The city's general counsel can't say much, other than the city will protect its interests.

They call it a rollercoaster ride.  People who live near the Middleburg meth house where a Clay County Detective was killed in a raid, say they're worried about their safety. Squatters had apparently taken over the home on Alligator Blvd. near Blanding.  Detective David White was laid to rest yesterday.  Detective Matt Hanlin is still recovering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

A frightening thought for parents, a dramatic rise in the number of teens who are dying as a result of texting behind the wheel.  Florida is one of 23 states that is seeing the spike in teen deaths behind the wheel.  We're watching our state politicians slowly move toward a ban on texting behind the wheel.  Later today a committee is taking up the plan that has already cleared three other committees.

Robbed over eight dollars. That's what a man is saying a woman did to him early yesterday morning.  He says he saw the woman panhandling in Arlington and gave her a dollar.  Minutes later, she approached him holding a gun and demanded more cash.

We're expected to get an update later today on the victim in a shooting at shopping center on Norwood Avenue in Brentwood.  Police tell us the victim is at Shands with life-threatening injuries.  Police are still looking for the shooter.

No identity on the man burned beyond recognition in a truck fire in Baker County.  The Medical Examiner's Office in Gainesville unable to determine the man's identity after dental records prove to be inconclusive.

Our Top National Story is You Decide 2012, with one week before Michigan and Arizona voters have their say in the Republican primary.  It's been an intriguing race so far.  Rick Santorum is trying to keep his momentum while Mitt Romney is looking to recapture some momentum in Michigan and other key states.  The final debate before Super Tuesday is tomorrow on CNN.

Santorum insists he was not questioning President Obama's Christian faith when he referred to Obama's "phony theology".  He was talking about Obama's environmental policies, Santorum insists.

An early victory for George LeMieux in his bid for the U.S. Senate, even if it doesn't count for much.  LeMieux won a straw poll held over the weekend by the Florida Federation of Republican Women in Tallahassee.

Jacksonville city councilman Richard Clark says he's going to run for Congress.  He's running for the District 6 seat that John Mica is vacating so he can run for a newly created seat.

Another visit to the Sunshine State for the Commander in Chief.  President Obama will have stops in Orlando and Miami Thursday.  In Orlando, he'll have a few campaign stops, and in South Florida he'll stop by the University of Miami to discuss his economic recovery plans.
