Another spectacular day with comfortable temps in the mid-80's and low humidity. If you're at the beach watch out for rip currents. We'll keep the great weather through the week, but there is a chance of afternoon storms Thursday and Friday.

Our Top National Story: Eleven years after the horrific loss of their loved ones, families will gather in New York City, the Pentagon and Shanksville. For the first time at ground zero, elected officials will not be speaking during the commemoration, although they could still attend.
President Obama and Mitt Romney plan to take down their negative ads today in honor of the 9/11 anniversary. Obama has scheduled a moment of silence at the White House and a trip to the Pentagon. Vice President Joe Biden plans to attend a memorial service at Shanksville. Romney will address the National Guard Association convention in Reno, Nevada.
Several events are taking place this morning on the First Coast to honor the lives lost in the terror attacks. St. Augustine will continue its annual tradition by hosting a 15 minute ceremony at the fire department's main station. There's a 5K run at Naval Hospital Jacksonville starting at 7am with a ceremony at 8am. And Mayor Alvin Brown will lead a remembrance ceremony at Everbank Field starting at 9am.
Military officials in Yemen say they believe the U.S was behind an airstrike that killed al-Qaeda's number-two leader in Yemen. Saeed al-Shihri was a Saudi national who fought in Afghanistan and spent six years in the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay. He and six others were killed by a missile believed to have been fired by an unmanned drone operated by the U.S.
Our Top Local Story: With funding for education always one of the questions every budget year, local teachers want answers on where the state stands. Governor Rick Scott says he's committed to directing the dollars to where Florida gets the right results. He hosted an education roundtable at Pinedale Elementary School in Jacksonville Monday, where he heard many teachers complain they are teaching to the FCAT.
It's a second day out of class for students in Chicago's public schools. Negotiators for the teachers union and the school district still have not been able to reach an agreement on a contract, so teachers will be striking for another day.
St. Johns County is among three counties legally challenging an attempt by the state to recoup tens of millions of dollars in Medicaid payments. It's the latest in a months-long battle about whether the counties have paid their full shares of Medicaid costs. The three counties are raising questions about duplicate billings and incorrect patient addresses.
A former x-ray technician at Mayo Clinic whose actions lead several patients to get infected with Hepatitis C was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison. Steven Beumel of Orange Park was convicted of tampering with syringes, replacing syringes of Fentanyl with syringes of saline contaminated with Hepatitis C.
5 people were infected and one even died as a result.
A pedestrian crossing Mayport Road is struck and killed by a pickup truck. Florida Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was crossing against the green light last night on Mayport Road and Fairway Villas Drive. The driver of the truck has not been charged.
The south Florida pizza shop owner who bear-hugged the President says people are boycotting his business. Scott Van Duzer tells Politico people are saying a lot of bad things and boycotting his business. Van Duzer says both Democrats and Republicans are welcome in his store.
