1.) Homeowner kills intruder in Fort Caroline. A burglar is shot dead by the owner of the home he was trying to break into. It happened just before Midnight on Oak Water Drive off Monument Road. Police tell Matt Augustine that multiple people were trying to break into the home. When the first intruder was shot, the others fled.
Breaking in Sandalwood: A man is shot several times during an apparent drug deal. Just before 1:00 a.m., a man in his 20's was at a friend's house on Foal Lane, when he told people inside the home he was going to step out for awhile. Police say it appears something went wrong during a drug deal and the man was shot multiple times either near or inside his car. The man was taken to UF Health in life-threatening condition.
2.) Tony Soprano is dead. "Sopranos'' star James Gandolfini passed away at age 51. The actor died Wednesday while vacationing in Rome. Gandolfini played Tony Soprano in the HBO series. One of his later roles was in the Osama bin Laden manhunt docudrama "Zero Dark Thirty.''
3.) Delivering the best fan experience will cost more than $60 million. Jaguars owner Shad Khan is putting up $20 million of his own money for the upgrades at EverBank Field. The changes include new video scoreboards in each end zone, measuring 55 by 301 feet- a size the Jags say is the
