Local schools getting national recognition

Jacksonville, FL — Two local schools have been recognized as being among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. It ranked The University of North Florida on its list of best national universities.

It ranked Flagler College fourth among the country’s best regional colleges, and thirteenth on the “Best Value” list.

This is the second straight year UNF has been recognized by the publication in the “Best National” category. The university had been on the “Best Regional” list for eight consecutive years. UNF was also recognized as a top public institution, a top performer on social mobility, and it made the list of universities with the least student debt.

Flagler College was recognized for officer high-quality programs at an affordable cost.
